  1. Consumer Wellbeing — Members shall ensure that their products and services are safe, effective, and of high quality, and that they contribute to the health and wellbeing of consumers.

  3. Responsible Marketing — All marketing and advertising of self-care products shall be truthful, not misleading, and shall enable consumers to make informed choices. Marketing shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes.

  5. Scientific Integrity — Members shall base their claims on sound scientific evidence and shall ensure that product information is accurate, balanced, and up to date.

Governance

The Code of Ethics is adopted by the GSCF Board of Directors and is binding on all members. The GSCF Executive Committee oversees compliance with the Code and may address any breaches in accordance with the Federation's bylaws.
